We look forward to welcoming you!.

  • Energy

We are continuous working with reducing our energy consumption through various methods. To gain more knowledge we are know active in a network led by the Energy office in south of Sweden.

We have also invested in renewable solar energy, on the cottages roofs, and can also offer opportunity to charge electric cars.

  • Consumables and waste

We working together with our guest to reduce the amount of waste, by kindly asking our guest to sort there waste.

No disposables are used in the cottages.

We work to minimize the amount of chemicals that are used. And for the once that are used we always look for eco- labelled alternatives.

  • Interior design

An effective way to reduce consumption, which has a great influence on sustainability, is to reuse furnishings and furniture. Maria has a great interest in recycling and regularly visits auctions and flea markets to find new things.

When we shop for new products, we choose products that have been produced sustainably.

  • Bed linnen

Our bed linen are satin woven, of a blend of lycocell and cotton. Many guest think they are very soft and comfortable to sleep in. Lyocell is a cellulose fiber, made from wood pulp, (sustainable grown eucalyptus or spruce). The sustainability advantages are that lyocell use less water and chemicals during manufacturing, compared to cotton. Lyocell is also a durable fiber that is easy to maintain, dries quickly.

  • Diversity

Of course we welcome every one how wants to come to us. We love diversity and inclusion, even your pets are welcome to stay with us (small fee). We planning to claim a piece of land and sow seeds to increase biodiversity which benefits insects such as bees and bumblebees.

The Red Cottage is accessible, please ask if you want to know more.

  • Social responsibility

We collect all the bottles and cans that our guests leave behind, pawn them and donate the money to the Nature Conservation Association's work for a sustainable environment.

And we actively works against trafficking and prostitution.
